Yellow Rice With Raisins

Ingredients
  Rice 2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs), uncooked
  Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Boiling water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Cinnamon stick 1
  Turmeric 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Stir rice and margarine into boiling water in saucepan.
Add cinnamon stick, turmeric, salt and bay leaf.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Discard cinnamon stick and bay leaf.
Stir in raisins
