Basic Boiled Wild Rice
|Wild rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Butter||3 Tablespoon, melted|
1) In a heavy saucepan, rinse and place the rice in the salted water, cover and allow to boil over a medium heat.
2) Remove the lid and gently boil for about 35 minutes until just tender.
3) Drain, place over a gentle heat, shake and dry for 5 minutes.
4) Combine the melted butter with a fork.
5) Serve immediately.
