Shades Of Autumn Rice
|Uncooked brown rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Apple juice/Apple cider||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Condensed chicken broth||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Apple||1 , peeled, cored and chopped|
|Golden raisins||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Freshly grated nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1.In a slow cooker, put brown rice, apple juice, broth, apple, raisins, walnuts, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
2.Put the lid on and place the cooker on LOW heat for 4-5 hrs.
3.Once the rice is cooked well, remove the cooker from heat.
