How To Make A Red Snapper (Fish) Biryani

Learn how to make Biryani with Red Snapper fish and Indian spices.
  Long grain rice 8 Ounce (presoaked)
  Water 3 Quart
  Red snapper fish 1⁄2 Pound, cubed
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Baby carrots 4 , sliced
  Tomatoes 1 Small, chopped
  Green bell pepper 1 , chopped
  Green onion 3 , chopped
  Canola oil 2 Tablespoon
  Green chiles 3 , chopped
  Ginger 2 Teaspoon, minced
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), minced
  Mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Red chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste

1. In a bowl, soak the rice in water for 2-3 hours.

2. In a pot, boil water and add in the presoaked rice. Cook for 55 minutes. Remove from the heat, drain the water and set aside.
3. In a skillet over medium low heat, pour canola oil. Add mustard, cumin, ginger, garlic and onion. Sauté them well.
4. Add bell pepper, green onion, tomato, baby carrot and green chilies. Add in the fish cubes.
5. Season with red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, black pepper and salt. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add cilantro and mix well. Cover and cook for a few minutes.
7. Add in the cooked rice and mix to combine. Transfer it to a steel bowl. Garnish with green onions and cilantro.
8. Cover the bowl and bake in the oven at low heat for 1 hour.

9. Serve the Red Snapper Biryani with curried spinach and enjoy!
