Basic Rice

Ingredients
  Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Uncooked enriched rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In saucepan combine all ingredients.
Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand 15 to 20 minutes.
Measure 1/2 cup cooked rice for each serving.
