Cheese and Rice Balls
|Cooked rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , well beaten|
|Melted butter||1 Tablespoon|
|Prepared mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Cheese cube||1 (Your Favorite, 1/2 Inch Cubes)|
|Bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fat||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
Mix rice and grated cheese.
Add egg, butter, and seasonings.
Cover each cube of cheese with rice mixture.
Form into balls.
Be sure that there are no open places in the balls, so that cheese won't seep out and separate from rice.
Dip into bread crumbs.
Fry in deep hot fat (365°F.) for 5 to 8 minutes, or until slightly brown on all sides.
