Ingredients
  Water 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Red pepper sauce 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Uncooked instant rice 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
  Canned black eyed peas 15 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Bacon slices 3 , crisply fried and crumbled
Directions

Heat water, onion, salt and pepper sauce to boiling in 2-quart saucepan.
Stir in rice; remove from heat.
Cover and let stand until liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
Stir in peas and bacon.
