|Wild rice||1 Cup (16 tbs) (plus 2 tablespoons uncooked)|
|Hot water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
Rinse rice under cold running water; drain.
In 3-qt casserole combine rice with remaining ingredients; cover.
Microwave at High 5 minutes.
Reduce power to 50% (Medium).
Microwave 18 to 24 minutes, or until rice is tender.
Spoon into two freezer containers.
Label and freeze no longer than 1 month.
To serve, remove from one container and place in 1-qt casserole; cover.
Microwave at High 4 to 7 minutes, or until hot, breaking apart and stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking.
