Creamy Chicken And Rice

Ingredients
  Broiler fryer chicken 3 Pound, cut up
  Onion 1 Medium, cut into wedges
  Quick cooking rice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Condensed cream of mushroom soup 10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Snipped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Dry sherry 2 Tablespoon
  Toasted sliced almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Paprika To Taste
Directions

In a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish arrange chicken with meaty portions to outside of the dish.
Add onion.
Cover with vented clear plastic wrap.
Micro-cook on 100% power (HIGH) 8 minutes.
Remove chicken, then drain onions and return onions to the dish.
Stir rice, soup, water, parsley, and sherry into the dish.
Arrange chicken atop with meaty portions to outside of the dish.
Cover with vented clear plastic wrap.
Micro-cook on 100% power (HIGH) 8 to 10 minutes or till chicken is done, turning chicken over and rearranging once.
Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
Arrange chicken on a platter.
Stir rice and spoon around chicken.
Sprinkle almonds and paprika atop.
