Herbed Brown Rice
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Regular brown rice||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Instant chicken bouillon granules||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Tomato||1 Medium, chopped|
In a medium saucepan combine water, rice, green pepper, boullon granules, and basil. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Slimmer, covered for 30 to 40 minutes or till rice is tender.
Stir in the chopped tomato. Heat through.
