Apple And Wild Rice Dressing

  Uncooked wild rice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Small, finely chopped (About 1/4 Cup)
  Unseasoned croutons 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Slivered almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Unpared apple 1 Medium, chopped (About 1 Cup)
  Apple juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

1. Mix wild rice, water, margarine and salt in 2-quart casserole. Cover tightly and microwave on high 3 to 5 minutes or until boiling.
2. Microwave on medium (50%) 25 to 30 minutes or until wild rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in onion. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients except apple juice. Add apple juice, 1 tablespoon at a time, tossing until croutons are moistened.
4. Cover tightly and microwave on high 4 to 5 minutes or until hot.
