Fried Rice Plus
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Cooking oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Grated gingerroot/1/4 teaspoon ground ginger||1 Teaspoon|
|Cold cooked rice||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Green onions||4 , sliced|
|Cubed cooked meat||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cooked vegetables/8 ounce can peas, drained||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), chopped|
|Chopped peanuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In small bowl beat egg with fork; stir in soy sauce and pepper.
Heat wok over high heat; add oil.
Stir-fry garlic and ginger in hot oil 30 seconds.
Add rice and onions; stir-fry 5 minutes.
Stir in cooked meat, vegetable, and nuts.
Cook, stirring often, for 6 to 8 minutes.
Drizzle egg mixture over rice mixture, stirring constantly about 1 minute or till egg is set.
Pass additional soy sauce, if desired.
