Chicken Flavored Rice
|Uncooked instant rice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Condensed chicken broth||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can, About 1 1/4 Cups)|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped to make about 1/4 cup|
|Dry white wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground turmeric||1 Dash|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Mix all ingredients except margarine and cheese in 2-quart casserole. Cover tightly and microwave on high 10 to 12 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
2. Stir in margarine. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
