Baked Curried Rice

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Seedless raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Curry powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Canned chicken broth 14 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Regular rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Saute the onion with raisins and curry powder in butter or margarine until the onion is soft in a medium-size skillet. Stir in chicken broth, water, salt and pepper; bring to boiling; pour over rice in a 4-cup baking dish; cover.
2. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 1 hour, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed; fluff with a fork.
