Baked Wild Rice
|Wild rice mix||6 Ounce (1 package, with spices)|
|Water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded sharp cheddar cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped ripe olives||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine rice, package of spices, and water in a 2-quart casserole.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave at HIGH 10 minutes.
Let stand, covered, 10 minutes.
Combine milk, pepper, salt, and cheese in a 4-cup glass measure.
Cover'and microwave at HIGH 1 minute.
Stir the milk mixture into the cooked rice.
Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH 4 minutes.
Let stand, covered, 4 to 5 minutes before serving.
