Curried Orange Rice
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Instant chicken bouillon granules||1 Teaspoon|
|Curry powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Long grain rice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sliced green onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Snipped fresh parsley||1 Tablespoon|
In a medium saucepan combine water, chicken bouillon granules, and curry powder.
Bring to boiling.
Add uncooked rice.
Return to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or till rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Meanwhile, peel and section orange over a bowl to catch the juices.
Cut up orange sections.
Stir cut-up orange, juices, green onion, and parsley into the rice mixture.
