White Long Grain Rice

Ingredients
  Salad oil 3 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Long grain rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Regular strength chicken broth/Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Directions

Heat oil and butter in a 4-quart pan over medium-high heat.
When butter is melted, add onion and cook, stirring, until soft (about 5 minutes).
Add rice and stir until coated; add broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender (25 to 30 minutes).
