Wild Rice With Pine Nuts
|Canned no salt chicken broth||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Wild rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), uncooked|
|Brown rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), uncooked|
|Pine nuts||3 Tablespoon, toasted|
|Dried whole basil||1 Teaspoon|
Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.
Stir in toasted pine nuts and remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer an additional 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
