Raisin Rice

Ingredients
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Branded)
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Grated lemon peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Boiling water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
Place all ingredients in a 3-quart baking dish.
Stir to mix thoroughly.
Cover.
Bake until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender, about 35 minutes.
