Plain Cooked Rice

Ingredients
  Long grain rice 500 Milliliter (2 cups)
  Water 750 Milliliter (3 Cups)
Directions

1. Rinse rice 2-3 times with cold running water. Then drain well.
2. Combine rice and 3 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, uncovered.
3. Reduce heat to low, and simmer until almost all water has evaporated and crater-like holes appear in the rice. Cover saucepan and simmer for about 20 minutes to achieve total gelatinization.
