Spicy Wild Rice Casserole
|Hot bulk sausage||1 Pound|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Fresh mushrooms||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Canned cream of mushroom soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Long grain and wild rice||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs), shredded|
In 2-quart casserole, combine sausage, celery, onion, mushrooms and green pepper; cover.
Microwave at high (10) 6 to 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
Add water, soup, rice and cheese.
Microwave at high (10) 16 to 22 minutes.
Stir after 10 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes.
