Baked Brown Rice With Dates

Ingredients
  Milk 1 Quart
  Raw brown rice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Chopped dates 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Plain yogurt 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
2. Put the milk, rice, sugar, salt, and dates in a 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole or baking dish. Stir to mix. Bake until a light brown skin forms over the surface. Stir the skin into the pudding and bake until another skin forms and stir that in. Continue stirring in the skins for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
3. Bake, without stirring, until the rice is tender and the top is well browned.
