Pork Chops With Rice

Ingredients
  Sunflower oil 2 Tablespoon
  Pork chops 8 (1/2 Inch Thick)
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Canned tomatoes with juice 28 Ounce
  Quick cooking rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

In a covered skillet, heat sunflower oil.
Lightly brown pork chops.
Remove from skillet.
Set aside.
In pork cooking fat, saute onion.
Place pork chops on top.
Add tomatoes in their juice, rice and water.
Cover.
Over low heat, simmer 25-30 minutes or until meat is tender and rice is cooked.
Season with salt and pepper.
