|Wild rice||1 Cup (16 tbs) (250 ml)|
|Water||750 Milliliter (3 cups)|
|Salt||1 Teaspoon (5 ml)|
€¢ Place rice in a sieve and rinse under cold running water until the water runs clear.
€¢ Measure the water in a 6-cup (1.5 L) microwave-safe dish. Microwave 6 minutes at HIGH.
€¢ Add the rice and salt. Stir well. Cover and microwave 20 to 30 minutes at MEDIUM. Stir with a fork.
€¢ Cover and let stand 25 minutes.
€¢ Taste. If it needs more cooking, give it another 5 minutes at MEDIUM.
€¢ Let stand 10 minutes.
