Sweet Zarda Rice
|Nuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Handful Of)|
|Basmati rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||125 Milliliter (1/2 Glass)|
|Saffron threads||4 (Zaffran)|
|Yellow food color||3 Drop|
|Yellow food coloring||2 Drop|
|Paneer/Koya / meethai||250 Gram|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Clarified butter/Ghee / oil||1 Tablespoon|
Heat some water in a pan and bring it to boil. Add food color.
Now add rice to it. Bring it to boil and cook until half done.
Heat ghee add nuts, coconut and cardamom pods. Remove it.
In the same pan add sugar and milk. Cook until sugar melts.
Then add rice. Mix well and add nuts.
Cover and keep on a slow fire for 15 minutes.
Garnish it with paneer, khoya or meethai is ready.
