|Raw rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cold water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. Combine the rice, water, salt and butter in a three quart saucepan.
2. Place the saucepan over high heat and, when the water begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and stir the rice once with a fork.
3. Cover the saucepan tightly and simmer twelve to sixteen minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed.
