Cook 1/2 cup chopped onion in 2 tablespoons butter until light golden.
Mix in 2 cups cooked rice and 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes.
Stir in 1 slightly beaten egg and cook until set.
