Orange And Rice

Orange and rice is a cooked dessert made with oranges and rice along with sugar syrup. Fruity and filling with the comfort of a warm sugar syrup, the orange and rice dessert is worth a try!
Ingredients
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Boiling water 8 Cup (128 tbs)
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Oranges 3
Directions

MAKING
1.Wash rice thoroughly and add slowly to boiling, salted water.
2.Boil 20 minutes, or until rice is tender when pressed between the fingers.
3.Drain, rinse with hot water, cover with clean cloth and let stand in warm place to separate grains.
4.Boil sugar, water and lemon juice together for 10 minutes to make a syrup.
5.Peel oranges, cut into halves crosswise and remove core.
6.Add oranges to syrup and cook until tender but not broken.
7.Place rice in a mound on serving dish.
8.Arrange oranges around rice and pour syrup over the whole.
SERVING
9.Serve with an appetizer
