Japanese Sweet And Sour Spare Ribs

Ingredients
  Spareribs 2 Pound
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), chopped
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon (diluted in water and thickened with hot water)
Directions

Have spareribs cut into 1 inch pieces.
Brown in skillet; season with salt.
Drain off grease when browned.
Pour vinegar over the spareribs.
Add garlic; cover and let steam for 5 to 10 minutes.
Season with sugar and shoyu sauce.
Just before serving,add thickened cornstarch.
Serve hot.
