Sweet And Sour Spareribs
|Cooking oil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic/2 onions||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Chinese soy sauce||3 Teaspoon|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|White vinegar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|White sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Few Grains)|
Cut spareribs in 1-inch pieces.
Fry in oil until brown.
Then brown the garlic (onion).
Add salt, pepper, and slowly pour on soya sauce.
Add water to cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
Add sugar, vinegar and syrup.
Simmer for 3 minutes, then add cornstarch mixed with a little water, and cook until thickened.
Serve with rice.
