Barbecued Spare Ribs
|Lean spare ribs||4 Pound, cut in pieces|
|Lemon||1⁄2 , cut into thin slices|
|Onion||1 , cut into thin slices|
|Catsup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Tabasco sauce/1 dash crushed red pepper||2 Dash|
Spread ribs in roasting pan or shallow casserole dish.
Place slices of lemon and onion over ribs.
Bake in hot oven (450 degrees) 35 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs.
Continue baking in 350 degree oven about one hour.
Baste ribs with sauce three or four times.
