Barbecued Spareribs

Ingredients
  Onion soup and recipe mix 2 Ounce (1 Pouch)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ketchup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Hot pepper sauce 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pork spareribs 2 1⁄2 Pound, cut into individual ribs
Directions

1. To prepare sauce, in small bowl, stir together soup mix, water, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, chili powder and hot pepper sauce. Arrange ribs in 12- by 8-inch microwave-safe baking dish, placing thicker portions toward edges of dish. Pour sauce over ribs. Cover with vented plastic wrap; microwave on high 5 minutes. Rearrange ribs.
2. Reduce power to 50%. Cover; microwave 40 minutes or until ribs are tender, rearranging ribs and spooning off fat twice during cooking. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Spoon off fat.
