Cut meat in 2-rib portions.
Mix soy, oil, lemon juice, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
Place ribs in shallow baking dish; pour marinade mixture over.
Cover; refrigerate 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
Occasionally spoon marinade over.
Remove ribs, reserving marinade.
Grill over slow coals, bone side down, about 25 minutes.
Turn ribs, meaty side down, and grill 15 to 20 minutes more.
Meanwhile, stir honey into reserved marinade; brush frequently over ribs during last 5 minutes.
