Raspberry and currant ice is a juicy and incredibly fruity dessert that is easily prepared and served at home. Served chilled after freezing, we love this berry and currant ice at home after lunch on a sweltering day in the smmer!
Ingredients
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Currant jelly 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Raspberry juice 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Water 1 Quart
Directions

At least one quart each of the berries and currants will be needed to give the required amount of juice.
Sprinkle one half cup of the sugar over them, stir well and let stand for one hour.
Strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
Make a syrup of the remaining sugar and the water.
Add the fruit juice, strain, cool and freeze.
