It's extremely easy to make this Spicy Raisin Squares - a big hit with kids and adults alike. So try out this deliciously different recipe for Spicy Raisin Squares and serve it to your loved ones - they'll simply love it!
  Egg 1
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
  Mace 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Crushed pineapple 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), drained
  Seedless raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Light cream 2 Tablespoon

Beat egg and sugar together.
Stir in butter.
Sift flour with spices, salt and soda and stir into egg mixture.
Mix in pineapple and raisins.
Turn into a greased baking pan about 11 by 7 by 1 1/2 inches.
Smooth top with a spatula.
Combine 1/4 cup sugar and cream.
Pour over top of dough in pan.
Bake in a hot oven (400° F) 20 to 25 minutes.
Cut in squares and serve hot.
