Romaine With Raisins

Ingredients
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Catsup 3 Tablespoon
  Red wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced or slivered
  Avocado 1 Medium
  Romaine head 1 Large, broken into bite-size pieces
  Golden raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cooked bacon strips 6 , crumbled, cooked crisply
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Combine oil, catsup, vinegar, soy, and sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved; set aside.
Spread almonds in a shallow pan and toast in a 350° oven until golden (about 8 minutes); set aside.
Peel, pit, and thinly slice avocado.
In a salad bowl, mix together romaine, avocado, raisins, almonds, and bacon.
Add dressing and toss gently.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
