The quiche originated in germany but is now recognised as a classic french recipe. Made with a batter of eggs, flour and butter, this quiche recipe is filled with vegetables like mushrooms, onions and capsicums along with cheese and cream.
  Plain flour 250 Gram
  Salted butter 150 Gram, softened (150 Gram)
  Onions 125 Gram, finley chopped
  Mushrooms 400 Gram
  Pepper powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Cream 200 Gram
  Capsicums 100 Gram, finely chopped
  Processed cheese 100 Gram, grated
  Eggs 2
  Butter 4 Tablespoon

Mash the softened butter, till smooth.
Add the eggs and beat well 3.Sieve the flour and add to the mixture.
Knead into a dough.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Then knead again.
Divide the dough into 2 portions and roll out each portion, on a lightly floured surface, into a circle.
Line a tart dish with the pastry, pressing well to seal the sides.
Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
Press the pastry down again to bring it up from the sides.
