Cottage Cheese Quiche
|Unbaked 9 inch pie shell||1|
|Cottage cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated swiss cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped chives/Onions||2 Tablespoon|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
|French fried onion rings/Seasoned fresh breadcrumbs to taste||1 1⁄2 Ounce, crushed (1/2 Of A 3 Ounce Can Of Onion Rings)|
Position rack in lower third of oven and preheat to 400°F.
Partially bake pie shell until golden, about 20 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Reduce temperature to 350°F.
Combine cottage and Swiss cheeses, eggs, chives, salt and pepper and beat well.
Turn into pie shell.
Bake 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with crushed onion rings.
Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before slicing into wedges and serving.
