Bacon Cheese Quiche Pie
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated sharp cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs), scalded|
|Eggs||3 , slightly beaten|
|Fried bacon slices||8|
|9 inch baked pie crust||1|
Preheat oven to 350°.
Saute onion in butter until golden; spoon into pie crust.
Sprinkle onion with cheese.
Combine milk and eggs; add salt, pepper and thyme.
Pour into crust.
Crumble 2 pieces bacon; sprinkle over pie.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Garnish with remaining bacon slices arranged spoke fashion over pie.
