Layered Seafood Quiche

Layered seafood quiche is a cheesy tuna quiche. Made with added eggs and moistened with milk, the layered seafood quiche is oven baked without a crust. Garnished with fresh herbs like dill or sour cream, it makes an excellent meal addition, especially for brunches.
  Finely chopped onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Canned white tuna/2 cans (6 1/2 ounce) canned solid light tuna in water 12 1⁄2 Ounce, drained, flaked (1 Can)
  Shredded cheddar cheese 8 Ounce (2 Cups)
  Eggs 3 , lightly beaten
  Canned evaporated milk/Light evaporated skimmed milk 12 Ounce (1 Can)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon

Cook onion in medium saucepan, covered, over very low heat until soft, adding water if necessary to prevent scorching.
Line bottom of 9-inch pie pan with tuna.
Sprinkle with cooked onion; top with cheese.
Combine eggs, milk and salt in small bowl; mix well.
Pour over cheese.
Bake in preheated 350 °F oven 30 minutes or until set.
Let stand at least 10 minutes before cutting.
Garnish as desired.
