A Cheese and Onion quiche is one of my favorites from the German and French cuisines. I gorge on this superly delicious appetizer quite frequently . Why don’t you share my refined tastes and make this Cheese and Onion Quiche at home ? Just try and let me know.
  8 inch pie crust 1 Small (Use 1 Slice Bread Per Serving)
  Onion 8 Ounce, cut into thin slices
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Instant chicken broth and seasoning mix 1⁄2 Tablespoon (1/2 Tablespoon)
  Sharp cheddar cheese/Shredded swiss cheese 2 Ounce
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Evaporated skimmed milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon

Cool piecrust.
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Water-fry onions in saucepan with water and broth mix.
When onions are translucent, transfer to piecrust.
Arrange cheese over onions, combine remaining ingredients, and pour into pie shell.
Bake on lowest rack of oven for 10 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 325°F. and bake until custard is set, about 45 minutes more.
