How to make a basic quiche. This version is Asparagus and Kale delicious and a great way to get your family to enjoy veggies!
|Uncooked pie shell||1|
|Greek yogurt||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan||4 Tablespoon|
|Grated nutmeg||1 Pinch|
|Grated mozzarella/Three cheese blend||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Diced ham||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baby kale||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Sweet onion||1 , chopped|
|Asparagus spear||8 Ounce , 6 sliced|
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over pie shell and press over base.
Heat olive oil in a saucepan and add onions, sliced asparagus, kale, salt, pepper and sauté well. Cover with a lid. Once done, allow it to cool.
In a large bowl, whip eggs, add yogurt and blend well.
Add 1/3rd cup of cheese, ham, nutmeg, pepper, cooked vegetable mixture and mix well.
Transfer the mixture to pie shell and arrange remaining asparagus on the top as shown in the video.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on the top and pop into oven.
Bake for 50 minutes at 350F.
Allow to cool completely before cutting.
