Hot Apple Punch
|Sugar||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Cinnamon stick||2 (2.5")|
|Ginger root pieces||1 (about size of quarter)|
|Orange juice||4 Cup (64 tbs) (fresh, canned or reconstituted frozen)|
|Lemon juice/16 ounce bottle||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Apple cider/Apple juice||2 Quart|
1) Mix together sugar and water and boil for 5 minutes.
2) Turn off heat and add spices. Cover it and let it stand for an hour. Then strain.
3) Before serving, mix together syrup, fruit juices and cider and bring to a boil.
4) Serve it hot.
