Spiced Fruit Punch
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Cinnamon stick||1⁄2 Inch, broken|
|Whole cloves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Apple juice/Apple cider||4 Cup (64 tbs), chilled|
|Canned apricot nectar||12 Ounce, chilled (1 can)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry white wine||1 1⁄2 Liter, chilled (2 bottles, 750 milliliter each)|
In a small saucepan combine water, sugar, stick cinnamon, and whole cloves.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours.
Pour the sugar mixture through a fine-mesh sieve; discard spices.
In a punch bowl combine the sugar mixture, apple juice or cider, apricot nectar, and lemon juice.
Pour in wine.
