Fruit And Wine Punch

Ingredients
  Strawberries 1 Pint, cut into 3/4 inch dice
  Ripe peaches 2 , pitted and cut into 3/4 inch dice
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Brandy 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dry white wine 1 1⁄2 Liter, chilled (such as riesling, 2 bottles of 750 millilitre each)
  Mint sprigs 3
Directions

MAKING
1 In a medium size bowl, mix the strawberries, peaches, sugar, and lemon juice;stir in the brandy.
2 Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least for 4 hours or overnight.
3 In a punch bowl, combine the fruit and its liquid with the wine .

SERVING
4 Serve chilled, spooning some of the fruit into each serving with the optional mint sprigs.
