Special Cucumber Punch

Ingredients
  Cucumber 1 Medium
  Dry white wine 2 Bottle (2 l), chilled
  Maraschino liqueur 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Champagne 1 Bottle (1 l)
Directions

MAKING
1. Wash, pat dry and slice the cucumber thickly; plae in a punch bowl and pour chilled wine; let it stand for half an hour
2. Add maraschino liqueur and leave for another five minutes

SERVING
3. Just before serving, remove the cucumber slices and add chilled champagne
