Hot Cranberry Punch

Hot cranberry punch, have you ever had it? This was what I had at a party recently and I just had to try to make it on my own. A deliciously flavored punch that would suit all tastes.
Ingredients
  Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon stick 2
  Whole allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Whole cloves 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pineapple juice 1 Quart
  Cranberry juice 1 Quart
  Lemon 1⁄2 , juiced
Directions

MAKING
1) In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, water, salt and the spices
2) Allow the mixture to come to a boil
3) Lower the flame and simmer the mixture for about 8 minutes
4) Pver a bowl, with a cheesecloth spread over, strain the mixture several time
5) Add in the pineapple juice, cranberry juice and the lemon juice and stir well
6) Allow to simmer for about 5 minute and then serve

SERVING
7) Serve warm
