Watermelon Punch Bowl

Ingredients
  Frozen pink lemonade/Punch 12 Ounce (Two 6 Ounce Cans)
  Cold water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Lemon-lime carbonated beverage/Ginger ale 1 Large, chilled
  Lime juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Ripe watermelon 1 , chilled
Directions

Mix the pink lemonade with the cold water or whiz in a blender.
Add the carbonated beverage.
Rest the watermelon on the flat light-skinned side to prevent rolling.
If it refuses to remain steady, cut a thin strip of skin from the underside.
Now, with a sharp pointed apple corer make eight evenly spaced deep holes into the top of the melon.
Press the corer into the hilt each time before turning and pulling out a tube of melon.
With a small funnel pour some of the lemonade mixture into each hole.
Let it disappear, then continue adding more of the beverage.
Chill watermelon and remaining lemonade.
At serving time pass straws.
Refill with more beverage as needed.
Finish by slicing the melon into big pieces.
Pass with brownies or chip cookies.
