Lemon Punch

  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Lemon peel 4 Teaspoon, grated
  Lemon juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lemon sherbet 2 Pint
  Orange sherbet 2 Pint
  Ginger ale 12 Ounce, chilled (2 Bottle)

Combine sugar and 2 cups water; heat, stirring constantly, till sugar dissolves; cool.
Add 2 cups water, lemon peel and juice; chill.
Pour into chilled punch bowl; add scoops of sherbet, stirring till partially melted.
Pour ginger ale down side of bowl, stirring with an up-and-down motion.
Serve immediately in punch cups.
