Ruby Wine Punch

Ingredients
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cinnamon stick 6 Inch
  Whole cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Burgundy 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cranberry apple juice 1 Quart (1 Bottle)
  Lemon 1 , thinly sliced
Directions

In saucepan, combine water, sugar, stick cinnamon, cloves, and salt; bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes; strain; chill syrup.
Combine syrup, wine, and cranberry-apple juice.
Pour over ice in punch bowl.
Float lemon slices.
